CREW LEADER: The Crew Leader is a full time position with our Community Services Division in Newark, Ohio.  This position will supervise an assigned crew to coordinate the completion of work that needs to be done on each job.  Ensures Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) standards are followed for each home as outlined in the Weatherization Program Standards (WPS). Must have the ability to perform all weatherization skills and theory, i.e., blower door use, duct sealing and indoor air quality, heating unit inspections, maintenance and repair, pressure house diagnostics, estimation of materials needed to weatherize a home, provide consumer education, mobile home weatherization. Ensure accurate record keeping for each client and proper account of materials and inventory. Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours a day, climb ladders, and work in tight quarters and in unclean conditions. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.  Experience and/or training in construction trade, home weatherization or related field.  Must have or be willing to obtain training within the first 180 days of employment on the use of blower door, duct sealing/pressure house diagnostics and be able to perform duties upon completion of training.  Must be certified or be willing to obtain certification in OSHA 30. Must be willing to obtain training and certifications required by the Ohio Service Department Agency. Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and provide proof of auto insurance. Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement, and complete various background checks including a pre-employment drug screen. Salary range: $14.07 – $15.39 per hour.

DATA OUTCOMES SPECIALIST: This full time position supports the Community Services Division of the Agency through collecting, compiling, sorting and verifying data, data entry and quantitative analyses of data collected. Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: Provide accurate data entry support to the Community Services Division.  Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data entered. Interpret data and analyze for Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA). Create and prepare spreadsheets, charts and other media showing analyses of data collected. Monitor quality and accuracy to ensure compliance with grant program regulations.

The qualified candidate will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.  Must be adept at queries, report writing, and present findings. Ability to develop analytic reports, charts and graphs.  Must have experience in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.  Candidate must be willing to become a ROMA Certified Consultant and maintain any future training as needed (Agency to provide).  Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years similar or related experience.  Preference will be given to candidates with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Business Management or a related field. Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record for work related driving.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement and complete various background checks including a pre-employment drug screen. Salary range: $15.39 – $16.34 per hour.

WEATHERIZATION TECHNICIAN: The Technician with our Community Services Division in Licking County is responsible to perform work on homes as outlined in the work order according to specific program standards. Complete any home repairs and weatherization as needed for each job. Perform general activities involving insulations, air sealing, glass and plexi-glass cutting, frame building, painting, and other duties as assigned. Perform general warehousing activities involving loading and unloading of vehicles, sorting and stocking of materials, equipment, and other related duties. Must be able to climb ladders, work in tight quarters and unclean conditions at times.  Must be able to stand for eight hours per day. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to work with and be sensitive to the needs of low-income, elderly and/or minority residents.

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and experience and/or training in construction trade, home weatherization or related. Salary range: $12.36 – $13.93 per hour.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES MANAGER: The Program Outcomes Manager position is with our Head Start/Early Head Start program. This full time, salaried position, collects, reports, and analyzes program data to ensure program outcomes are met.  This position is responsible for administration of the online child tracking system.  As part of the Head Start/Early Head Start Management team, this position works closely with the Program Director and Component Managers to help ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, program regulation and assist with overall program planning and tracking program outcomes.

The successful candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Business Administration or related filed.  A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an early childhood education program is required.  Head Start/Early Head Start is preferred. Strong organization and time management skills needed.  Keyboarding skills, computer literacy, and familiarity with various applications such as database, word processing, email and internet. Must submit to a background check, including BCI and FBI Criminal Records, Federal and State Sex Offender registries and the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System and be eligible for employment as required by ODJFS. Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License, provide proof of auto insurance and have a clean driving record for work related driving.   Must complete a pre-employment physical examination drug screening. Salary range $17.53 – $22.87 per hour.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE II/ENERGY AUDITOR: The Customer Service Representative II position is with our Community Services Division in Newark.  This full time position is responsible for performing general office functions such as typing filing, faxing, etc. Perform program intake and provide assistance to our clients and the community.  Responsible to collect and verify all required information and enter it into various systems.  Must be able to work with and be sensitive to the needs of low income, elderly and/or minority clients.  Must be willing to receive training to complete on-site energy audits. Be able to calculate income and electric usage. Will assist and counsel customers on ways to be energy efficient and perform Energy Audits when necessary. Candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to perform mathematical computations.  Able to work flexible hours to meet business needs.  Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Preference will be given to candidates with 1-2+ years’ experience within the customer service environment.  Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and provide proof of auto insurance. Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement, and complete various background checks, including a pre-employment drug screen. Salary range: $12.87 – $13.66 per hour.

CENTER ADMINISTRATOR: This full time position is with our Delaware Head Start/Early Head Start Center. The Center Administrator manages daily program operations and staff supervision.  In coordination with component managers, provides overall center program leadership.  Administers and implements policies and procedures at assigned site to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and State Licensing Regulations.  Maintain quality environments with attention to safety and health prevention measures.  Function as a liaison between central office leadership, staff and community collaborators. Assure active recruitment is occurring in the areas of the community that best reflects the program’s target population. Responsible for personnel issues, including but not limited to recommending hiring and terminating of center staff, staff conferences, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.  Conduct monthly staff meetings and individual meetings as needed. Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate center activities which may include evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field plus a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an early childhood education program with Supervisory experience. Experience in Step Up To Quality Rating System and Head Start preferred but not required. Must be computer literate and have experience in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have the ability to learn new systems.  Ability to lift 45 pounds as needed. FAMILY SERVICE WORKER:  This full time position is with our Marysville Head Start/Early Head Start Center. This position is responsible for coordinating, collaborating and facilitating the effective delivery of social services and parent involvement to Head Start children, families and staff in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and licensing regulations.  This position operates as a liaison between classroom and home settings. Responsible for developing a partnership with families including the following:  Assessing strengths and needs, developing goals using the Family Partnership Agreement, connecting with families resources to  meet needs, and collaborating with other agencies to ensure easy access to resources. Conduct recruitment activities according to the LEADS recruitment plan in order to maintain 100% enrollment.

The qualified candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree, Social Work Certificate or Licensure. Must submit to a background check, including BCI and FBI Criminal Records, Federal and State Sex Offender registries and the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System and be eligible for employment as required by ODJFS. ASSISTANT TEACHER: We have positions with our Marysville, Delaware, Utica and Newark Head Start/Early Head Start Centers. Please specify location when applying. This position is responsible to assist the classroom teacher in providing a successful, safe, and supervised educational setting for the children while they are in the Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area, and field trips). To assist the classroom teacher in promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of Head Start children.  To provide frequent contact with the families of the Head Start children in the classroom and at home.  To assist the classroom teacher with keeping accurate written notes to help develop individualized goals for the children, provide on-going assessment and successful transition into Kindergarten.

The successful candidate must have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.  Preference will be given to applicants with Pre-K certification or licensure. Salary range: $10.03 – $14.59 per hour depending upon degree and license.
