Clothes
I remember when a client came to the clothes closet to try and find something for her teenage daughter. The teen always felt that she didn't fit in because she did not have the right clothes. We were able to help her that day with a pair of "cool" jeans. She came back to tell us what a difference this made in her daughter's life. It takes courage to ask for help and LEADS removes all labels and reaches out with encouragement to help people get back on their feet.
Betty Spurgen, LEADS Buckeye Lake volunteer since 1991
LEADS clothes closet is set up like a clothes shop. Community volunteers help sort and price clothing items, as well as toys, books, and accessories for adults and children. The items are donated from local residents and are available to anyone that is in need and also is open to the public for purchase at a very low cost.
When you come, please bring proof that you live in Licking County and identification, proof of income is encouraged but not required.
