ASSISTANT TEACHER: We have a full-time position with our Delaware Head Start/Early Head Start Center. This position is responsible to assist the classroom teacher in providing a successful, safe, and supervised educational setting for the children while they are in the Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area, and field trips). To assist the classroom teacher in promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of Head Start children.  To provide frequent contact with the families of the Head Start children in the classroom and at home.  To assist the classroom teacher with keeping accurate written notes to help develop individualized goals for the children, provide on-going assessment and successful transition into Kindergarten.

The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.  Applicants with High School diploma or equivalent, must obtain a CDA within two (2) years from date of hire. Preference will be given to applicants with an Associate’s degree or higher, Pre-K certification or licensure. Applicant must have a valid Ohio Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record for work related driving.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement, complete a background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Salary range $15.87 - $23.06 per hour depending upon education and license.

FOOD SERVICE AID: We have a full-time position (34 hours) with our Head Start/Early Head Start Center in Marysville. This position assembles and delivers healthy meals.  Ability to lift and load food carriers from floor to van.  Ability to maintain high level of daily repetitive motion with arms and hands.  Ability to stand and walk for most of an eight and a half (8.5) hour day.  Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen sanitation.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED required.   Must complete background check which includes BCI and FBI Criminal records, Federal and State Sex Offender registries and the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information system and be eligible for employment as required by ODJFS. Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License and provide proof of auto insurance for work related driving.   A physical examination and drug screen is required before employment. Salary $14.70 per hour. 

ACCOUNTING CLERK II: The Accounting Clerk II assists in the fiscal department in Newark under the direction of the Fiscal Director. This position performs accounts payable related duties, which includes preparing vouchers and tracking past due bills, maintain and monitor purchase order system, cost allocations, etc. and filing.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer training in non-profit accounting with at least two (2) years college education and/or two (2) years’ accounting experience or any combination of education and experience. Experience in Accounts Payable, Data Collection, etc. Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Must have good time management skills, ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail. Must a have a valid Ohio Driver's License and provide proof of auto insurance. Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement, and complete various background checks including a pre-employment drug screen. Salary range: $17.61 - $19.85 per hour.
